Platforms and Rigging

Upper Rotating Platforms
Rampmaster Upper Rotating Platforms provide a convenient connection for your ladder or gangway to your vessel.
  • Standard 180° rotation allows ladder to deploy up to 90° outboard of your vessel.
  • Designed to hinge inboard for convenient stowage and rapid deployment.
  • Standard Yoke supported with your choice of Yoke Pad or Yoke Guide.
  • Removable Stanchions and galvanized chain rails (pipe rails optional) for quick removal and stowage.
  • Standard Connections for your ladder's feathering treads and/or feathering handrails.

Lower Platforms
Rampmaster Lower Platforms facilitates entry to and exit from the lower end of the ladder both on land and over water.
  • Fully adjustable to numerous angles of operation.
  • Standard square punched aluminum decking prevents unwanted accumulation of sea water and other hazards
  • Optional Trap Door provides access to platform from Pilot's Ladder or similar.
  • Optional reinforced, two-bay boat fender (shown at right) helps protect your vessel and your ladder from damage. The shell bumpers help secure your ladder in place and clear of the hull.

Rigging Equipment
Rampmaster Rigging Equipment includes everything you'll need to deploy, hang and stow your vessel access system.
  • Main Winches
    Either electrically operated or manual, these units do all the work for you while raising and lowering the ladder.
  • Davits & Davit Bases
    These giant booms (shown at right) support the ladder during raising and lowering and occassionally during use. When space limitations require, they can be fitted with a platform for the main winch.
  • Bridles & Spreader Bars
    These items (shown below) split your pendant lines allowing your passengers and crew to safely pass underneath.
  • Stowage Stanchions
    When tilting your ladder system inboard for stowage, you can secure it to your vessel with the help of these stanchions (shown at left).
  • Pendant & Shackles
    Consists of heavy duty cabling combined with screw-locking shackles used hang the ladder during use.
  • Tilting Winches
    Typically mounted to the stowage stanchions, these winches are used for tilting the ladder inboard and outboard for stowage and deployment.
